The Parish Bereavement Team was formed in response to a growing number of funeral services conducted at St. Luke. Our thoughts and compassion should be extended to all parishioners grieving the loss of a loved one.
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandparent’s Celebration
Each year our parish likes to recognize special Family Celebrations. The most important elements in a Family are the Fathers, Mothers and Grandparents. During Massm a special remembrance is given to each one as well as a personal blessing.
Our money counters ministry was founded to assist in opening the envelopes from the Mass collections. They then proceed to count the money that has been collected at the Mass immediately after Mass is over.
The purpose of the GIVING Tree Project is to collect, bag and tag gifts that are distributed to the poor. The project begins the first Sunday of Advent and carries on throughout the next three weeks. The distribution date is usually the weekend before Christmas. Volunteers are needed to help with the bagging and tagging as well as distribution. This is a wonderful way for a family to volunteer together.
Sundays 10:15 a.m. before Mass, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Our Rosary Prayer Group prays the rosary with general requests being the virtues and various intentions. They are always open to pray for anyone's special needs. The group is open to all.
